Every summer weekend in Odessa various festivals and events are held. You are welcome to the International Film Festival and typical gastronomic street food fests –  Tsimes, Neighbors or Taki da tasty. During weekend you will definitely find a lot of original entertainment for every taste and budget.

One of the main advantages of the Volna Hotel is its location: literally on the oldest Odessa beach and officially in the historical center. The beach of Langeron is the place of  the former residence of the governor of Odessa, Count Alexander Langeron and the part of the old park named after Shevchenko which was founded by the emperor Alexander II. Here you can stroll along the famous health route, swim with dolphins in the Nemo Dolphinarium (just 150 meters away from hotel) or go for a walk along Deribasovskaya street, Potemkin Stairs or in Gorsad (City Garden).

FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN

  • In a walking distance from the hotel in the green zone near the sea there is a large amusement park with a Ferris wheel.
  • Even closer, within 100 meters of the hotel,you will find the well-known Odessa dolphinarium with fascinating  show programs where you can see dolphins and sea seals, and even swim with them.
  • Only 20 minute walk or 5-7 minute car drive and you find  yourself in front of the Archaeological museum where the armor of Scythian warriors, Greek amphoras and a real mummy of  Pharaoh are exhibited!
  • A short drive on electric car or train along the health route from Lanzheron to Arcadia is very entertaining!
  • In the very heart of the City Garden in Deribasovskaya str. there is a children’s cafe “Pinocchio”.
  • But the excursion by boat from the passenger terminal, lasting about 40 minutes, is not recommended to the families with active children over 3 years old, they can get bored.

FOR ADULTS

Sunbathing is safe before 11 a.m. and after 4 p.m. so at the daytime we invite you to individual and group excursions:

  • Walking tour with the a photographer will reveal the historical secrets and secular chronicles of the last century.
  • We also invite to panoramic car drive, and to the excursions Criminal Odessa, Jewish Odessa.
  • Quest-excursion around the city.
  • Bachelorette party with individual program and a full transfer through Odessa.

WEEKEND IN ODESSA

Late check-in on Friday

  • Light supper at the seaside.
  • Transfer to the nightclub of Arcadia (optional).

Saturday

  • Yoga on the beach (mat, water + fresh juice after exercise) or beach cross-fit.
  • Sightseeing or specialized individual city tour.
  • Bathing with dolphins or  yacht sail.
  • Light dinner with wine or a set of original lemonades.

Early check-in on Saturday

  • Light  breakfast  at the seaside.
  • Walking sightseeing tour through the center with secret surprizes and photo session. Interesting stories, ancient mansions, funny legends and tales, half of which are true and a  professional photographer, who by the evening will deliver you a disk or a flash drive with a magnificent photo session against the background of Odessa.
